The Head of Partnership Development-Network is a high-profile leadership opportunity to shape the future of Partnership Development across a nationwide adviser network. As Head of Partnership Development – Network, you’ll lead a field-based team focused on helping Partners grow stronger, more sustainable businesses while delivering outstanding outcomes for customers.
Reporting to the Partnership Director, you’ll play a key role in the Partnership leadership team, bringing energy, commercial insight and strong relationship leadership to deliver Openwork’s strategic priorities and Value Creation Plan.
You’ll also be central to an exciting transformation: helping Openwork move from best-of-breed product distribution towards Lifetime Family Financial Planning across the Partnership.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead and coach a team of Partnership Development Managers to deliver strong commercial performance, Partner engagement and customer-focused outcomes.
- Set clear objectives, review performance regularly and support the team to remove blockers and solve complex challenges.
- Oversee firm-level business plans, succession plans and growth activity to ensure they are robust, ambitious and regularly reviewed.
- Use segmentation, MI and commercial insight to target support effectively and maximise the impact of the team.
- Build trusted relationships across Openwork and the adviser community, acting as a credible senior representative of the Partnership.
- Provide business development leadership that helps adviser firms grow, improve practice performance and deliver great customer outcomes.
- Work closely with recruitment, finance, supervision and specialist teams to support adviser growth, effective governance and proactive risk management.
- Manage team resources and budgets effectively while creating an environment where people can perform at their best.
